Forecast and climate
The summer months in Faro are characterized by a hot and dry climate with abundant sunshine. June has an average temperature of 24°C, while July and August have the highest temperatures, with averages of 27°C and 28°C, respectively.
During these months, you can enjoy more than 12 hours of sunshine per day, perfect for relaxing on Faro's beautiful beaches or taking a dip in the warm sea, with average water temperatures reaching 22°C.
In September, the weather in Faro remains warm and pleasant, with average temperatures ranging from 24°C in September to 19°C in November. Although the amount of sunshine decreases slightly, from around 10 hours a day to 8 hours, this is still a fantastic time to visit, especially if you prefer slightly cooler temperatures.
Please note that rainfall increases as the season progresses, with November being the wettest month of autumn.

Bring your summer and beach clothes. Faro is a tourist area and September is still beach and holiday season.
