How to do the Sports Medical Examination looking forward to be an Iceshow Club skater? Sports Medical Examination Iceshow Team Freestyle skating club cares about the physical condition of its athletes. As federates they must be in physical condition for practice or competition. Therefore, it is of special importance that, before registration, each one is given the respective sports medical examination, which allows for the early identification of some factor of attention not only in the practice of skating, but also in the health and well-being of our athletes. Before joining the club and the skating federation, it is determined that a sports medical examination must be carried out. Sports medical examination prior to REGISTRATION: 1. The sports medical examination may be carried out in any competent clinic. It is mandatory that it be a sports medical examination carried out by a competent entity (see model below). If the athlete already has a sports medical exam performed for another sport, then he/she does not need to perform any more. If you don't have it, you can schedule and perform the sports medical exam through our skating school, along with a group of other skaters. 2. the exam must be requested and scheduled ON HERE You should wait for our later contact with the date/time of the exam. (Usually on Wednesdays). 3. On the date and time indicated, the athlete must attend the clinic to perform the exam, accompanied by the documents that he/she deems to provide additional information to the exam, if necessary. 4. The training sessions are in Faro, at the Liceu de Faro sports center, on Av. 5 October. What time do the trainings take place? Usually between 7pm and 9pm. GROUP 1 - Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays; Are trainings mandatory? If you want to progress, we recommend a minimum of 6 hours a week to start. It is an international competition officially authorized by World Skate and supervised by the Portuguese Skating Federation. However, it is not regulated by any federation; it is a competition with independent federation events. The main objective of this competition is to develop and promote freestyle inline skating in Portugal, both among athletes and clubs. The aim is to provide skaters with another opportunity to demonstrate their skills in the various events of inline freestyle competition, in a relaxed and learning environment, in addition to national competitions, and to promote sportsmanship and the sharing of athletic performance. The regulations governing the entire development of this competition are the latest available version of the World Skate Inline Freestyle Regulations. The following lines are intended solely to give precise ideas in a simple and general way. The rules and regulations to be considered in this competition are those established by the WORLD SKATE INLINE FREESTYLE REGULATIONS and included in the 2026 competition rules of the FPP National Inline Freestyle Committee for events held in Portugal, available at the following link - Inline Freestyle Rulebook (last version 2025). Generally, these rules are set out in the General Regulations for Inline Freestyle of the Portuguese Skating Federation (FPP) and are applicable to all sports entities, including clubs, agents and sports practitioners, FPP members, members of FPP bodies, FPP Associates and any collaborators or other individuals or legal entities subordinate to the FPP who, in any capacity or for any reason, perform functions within the scope of competitions overseen by the FPP or not and who in any way intervene in them or develop activities included in the statutory purpose of the Federation. The points resulting from each athlete's performance affect the official World Skate ranking, in accordance with the regulations of that organization, which govern the federations of each participating country, and in accordance with the World Skate Inline Freestyle Ranking Regulations. This competition features 6 events in the following categories: Free Jump, Slides, Speed Slalom, Battle, Classic Slalom, and Classic Pairs. Six categories will be available: Under 15; Junior (Under 19) and Senior, for both female and male genders. All athletes must check in before the events and may only leave the competition after the awards ceremony, otherwise they will forfeit their right to receive the prize won. Only registered athletes may participate in competitions. All participating athletes must be registered with a registered club in their country. The organizing club primarily adheres to the regulations outlined in the 2026 competition rules of the Portuguese Skating Federation. Any activity not previously established and agreed upon through formal means, carried out by entities or individuals in the area where the competition takes place, is not authorized and will require the involvement of the authorities and judicial means to restore legality. The Delegates designated as Guardians of Minors or representatives of Security may, at any time if justified, request the stoppage or suspension of the competition. Download A Competição The Competition This Regulation and all events of the Faro International Cup follow the international rules of the sport, extracted directly from the latest version of the World Skate Inline Freestyle Regulations. Any issue not covered by these regulations should be referred to in the aforementioned WS document. 1. The Faro International Cup is independently managed by the Iceshow skating club, which is affiliated with the Alentejo and Algarve Skating Association and therefore also with the Portuguese Skating Federation (hereinafter referred to as FPP), and will follow its rules and regulations. 2. Each competition will have its official medal and prize presentation from sponsors/organizers. This medal presentation will be governed by the FPP's general competition regulations and the specific rules of the Inline Freestyle discipline, as detailed in the following chapter. 3. The technical competition rules for each of the events are those established by the WORLD SKATE INLINE FREESTYLE REGULATIONS and included in the 2025 competition rules of the FPP National Inline Freestyle Committee for events held in Portugal, available at the following link - Inline Freestyle Rulebook (last version 2020). 4. The use of race bibs was dispensed with for athletes in all events. 5. In accordance with the applicable regulations, the deadline for registration is 23:00 UTC on September 7, 2026. Without prejudice to the conditions defined in the preceding points of this article, it is the responsibility of the Chief Judge to make specific decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of each request for a change of category, after considering the specific circumstances of each case. "Collaborating Club" refers to all clubs that make their resources available to the organization of this competition through a binding agreement between the directors of the organizing club and delegates representing the collaborating club. A Partner/Sponsor is understood to be any entity or individual who, once the respective contract with the organizing club has been signed, assumes expenses arising from the organization of the competition or provides funds to the organization for the payment of prizes in cash or in kind. 2. Organizing and collaborating clubs will receive a special price for their skaters' registration, and may display their brand on rink advertising and streaming (if available). The minimum contribution to be considered a "collaborating club" is, at its most basic, the provision of two volunteers for each full day of competition and/or the contribution of materials deemed essential for the execution of one of the events. 3. The collaborating clubs have NO responsibility for the organization. 4. Any club may in the future add its own competition, thus forming a circuit of stages, becoming a co-organizing club for a new stage. With this collaboration, it will receive all the necessary logistical support from the organization to carry out its competition free of charge (specific surface for skidding, jump gauges, stopwatch, music equipment, streaming at a special price and human resources necessary to develop its competition). 5. The sponsors are responsible for delivering the prizes to the skaters in this Cup in accordance with these regulations, at the competition venue on the date and time specified in the Program. 6. No sponsor will be accepted that proposes a product or activity that may violate the image of the Cup or the spirit of sport, or that infringes or risks infringing any principle of sporting ethics. 7.
