- REGULAMENTO | FARO INTERNAC CUP REGULATIONS
Regulation CONTACTS REGISTR LIST RESULTS PHOTOS PRIZES STORE PARTNERS FARO CUP Faro Inline Freestyle Cup 2025 Download The Organization The Faro International Cup is a private organization organized by the Iceshow Team Freestyle club. It is an international competition officially authorized by the Portuguese Skating Federation. However, it is not regulated by any federation; it is a competition with independent federation events. The main objective of this competition is to develop and stimulate freestyle inline skating in Portugal, among athletes and clubs. The aim is to provide the skater with a further assessment of their skills in the different inline freestyle events, in a more relaxed and learning environment beyond the national events, through the sharing of techniques or forms of sporting performance. The purpose of this short regulation is to give precise ideas in a simple and general way. The rules and provisions to be considered in this competition are those established by the WORLD SKATE INLINE FREESTYLE REGULATIONS and included in the 2025 competition bases of the FPP National Inline Freestyle Committee for the events held in Portugal, available at the following link - Inline Freestyle Rulebook (last version 2020). They are generally set out in the General Inline Freestyle Regulations of the Portuguese Skating Federation - FPP - and are applicable to all sports entities, including Clubs, sports agents and practitioners, FPP members, members of the FPP bodies, FPP Associates and any collaborators or other individuals or legal entities subordinate to the FPP who, in any capacity or for any reason, perform functions within the scope of the competitions supervised by the FPP or not and who in some way intervene in them or develop an activity included in the statutory purpose of the Federation. The points resulting from the results obtained by each athlete have an effect on the official World Skate ranking in accordance with the regulations of that entity and by which the Federations of each country involved are governed. Sponsors of the Faro Cup, or of each event, will have priority visibility on the rink in relation to local sponsors and sponsorships from the Federation or Regional Skating Associations. In this competition, 6 events are held in the categories of Free Jump, Slides, Speed Slalom, Battle, Classic Slalom and Classic Pairs. There will be 6 categories available; U14; U19 and Senior, for both male and female genders. All athletes must check in and must only leave the competition after the prizes have been awarded, otherwise they will lose the right to receive the prize they have won. Only federated athletes may participate in competitions. All participating athletes must be registered with a federated club in their country. The organizing club must comply, in the first instance, with what is described in the 2025 Competition Regulations of the federation to which it belongs. Any activity not pre-established and agreed upon by formal means carried out by entities or individuals in the area where the competition takes place is not authorized and will require the involvement of judicial means to restore legality. Download The Competition This Regulation and all the events of the Faro International Cup follow the international rules of the sport, taken directly from the World Skate Inline Freestyle Regulations in their latest version. Any issue not covered by this regulation should be referred to the aforementioned WS document. 1. The Faro International Cup is managed independently by the Iceshow skating club, linked to the Alentejo and Algarve Skating Association, and therefore also to the Portuguese Skating Federation (hereinafter referred to as FPP) and will follow its rules and regulations. 2. Each Competition will have its own official medal and prize award ceremony from the sponsors/organizers. The aforementioned medal award ceremony will be governed by the general FPP competition regulations and the specific rules of the Inline Freestyle discipline as set out below in the chapter indicated. 3. The technical competition rules for each of the events are those established by the WORLD SKATE INLINE FREESTYLE REGULATIONS and included in the 2025 competition rules of the FPP National Inline Freestyle Committee for events held in Portugal, available at the following link - Inline Freestyle Rulebook (last version 2020). 4. The use of race numbers for athletes in all events has been waived. 5. The expected closing date for accepted entries is 23:00 on 08 September 2025. However, entries may be closed if the number of entrants reaches the limit of 200 athletes, which is the maximum humanly possible to hold this competition while maintaining the desired quality and prestige. 6. Without prejudice to the conditions defined in the previous points of this article, it is up to the Chief Judge to make specific decisions on the acceptance or rejection of each of the requests for change of category, after considering the specificities of each situation in question. Download Âncora Quadros Awards and Podiums (see TABLES) 1. Medals will be awarded to the 3 winners of each event, from 1st to 3rd place - 96 medals. 2. Trophies will be awarded to all 1st place winners in the Free Jump, Slides and Speed Slalom categories - 18 trophies. 3. Cups will be awarded to all 1st place winners in the Battle; Classic Slalom and Classic Pairs categories - 14 cups. 4. The Classic Pairs competition will be held with a single category (mixed absolute) regardless of gender and age. 5. Prize Money will also be awarded to the 1st places in the SUB19 and SENIOR categories in the 5 events, for a maximum total of 20 winners. 6. Prizes or medals will only be awarded to those who are present to collect them at the scheduled time during the two days of competition. Prizes or medals will not be sent to anyone, nor will they be given to absent athletes or their representatives. 7. Any doubts or questions regarding the structure defined for awarding prizes as set out in these regulations must be addressed to the organization. The term "Collaborating Club" means all clubs that make their resources available for the organization of this competition through a binding agreement between the directors of the organizing club and delegates representing the collaborating club. Partner/Sponsor is understood to be any entity or individual who, once the respective contract has been signed with the organizing club, assumes expenses arising from the organization of the competition or makes funds available to the organization for the payment of prizes in cash or in kind. 2. Organizing and collaborating clubs will receive a special price for registering their skaters, and will be able to display their brand in the rink's advertising and streaming (if applicable). The minimum contribution to be considered a "collaborating club" is, in its minimum expression: the provision of two volunteers during each full day of competition and/or the contribution of material considered essential for the realization of one of the events. 3. Collaborating clubs have NO responsibility for the organization. 4. Any club may in the future add one of its own competitions, thus becoming a circuit of stages, thus becoming a co-organizing club of a new stage. With this collaboration, the organization will provide all the necessary logistical support to hold its competition free of charge (specific skidding surface, jump meters, stopwatch, music equipment, streaming at a special price and human resources necessary to develop its competition). 5. Sponsors are responsible for delivering prizes to the skaters of this Cup in accordance with these regulations, at the competition venue on the date and time specified in the Program. 6. No sponsor will be accepted if he proposes a product or activity that could violate the image of the World Cup or the spirit of sport, or that violates or risks violating any principle of sporting ethics. 7. Each new sponsor must contract their sponsorship if added up to 15 days before the start of the competition and must provide at least 6 prizes, or an amount equivalent to the sale price. Download
