How to do the Sports Medical Examination looking forward to be an Iceshow Club skater? Sports Medical Examination Iceshow Team Freestyle skating club cares about the physical condition of its athletes. As federates they must be in physical condition for practice or competition. Therefore, it is of special importance that, before registration, each one is given the respective sports medical examination, which allows for the early identification of some factor of attention not only in the practice of skating, but also in the health and well-being of our athletes. Before joining the club and the skating federation, it is determined that a sports medical examination must be carried out. Sports medical examination prior to REGISTRATION: 1. The sports medical examination may be carried out in any competent clinic. It is mandatory that it be a sports medical examination carried out by a competent entity (see model below). If the athlete already has a sports medical exam performed for another sport, then he/she does not need to perform any more. If you don't have it, you can schedule and perform the sports medical exam through our skating school, along with a group of other skaters. 2. the exam must be requested and scheduled ON HERE You should wait for our later contact with the date/time of the exam. (Usually on Wednesdays). 3. On the date and time indicated, the athlete must attend the clinic to perform the exam, accompanied by the documents that he/she deems to provide additional information to the exam, if necessary. 4. The exam costs around 10.00Eur. payable by the user at the time of the medical examination. 5. After the exam, you will be given a document with the results which you must scan the home page for use in the online application. Events MOB22 FREE PARTICIPATION Every year, from 16 to 22 September, the European Commission's flagship awareness campaign on sustainable urban mobility invites towns and cities across Europe and beyond to take part in European Mobility Week (EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK). During this week, close to 3,000 towns and cities encourage behavior change in favor of active mobility, public transport and other clean and smart transport solutions by organizing awareness activities and events with local stakeholders. The annual theme for 2023 is “Save Energy”. And we added "...go rollerblading!" This year, the Iceshow club organizes its usual Night Roller Skate Tour on a circuit around the city of Faro. FaroAtivo24 FAROACTIVO 2023 The Municipality of Faro is once again promoting Faro Ativo, an event that usually marks the beginning of the sporting year in the municipality. Faro Ativo 2023 takes place in close collaboration with the municipality's associative and business fabric. Competition Important websites: Inline freestyle has competition events. The competition events in the discipline of Inline Freestyle Skating have two aspects: 1. The freestyle slalom (Slalom) 2. Freeskating (Urban skating) The events that belong to the modality of freestyle slalom are: a) Classic slalom, b) Classic slalom pairs; c) Speed slalom (speed slalom) - individual and in teams; d) Battle Slalom (Battle Slalom) - Individual and in teams . The competition floor must be suitable for the practice of sports: no cracks, bumps, level and with good grip. 5 rows of cones must be marked, arranged as follows: The first row , with a separation of fifty (50) centimeters between cones, shall be situated at a distance of between two (2) and three (3) meters in relation to the judges' table. The second row , with a separation of eighty (80) centimeters between cones, should be located at a distance of two (2) meters from the first row. The third line , with a separation of one hundred and twenty (120) centimeters between cones, shall be located at a distance of two (2) meters from the second line. The fourth line , with a separation of eighty (80) cm between cones, shall be situated at a distance of one (1) meter from the third line. The fifth row , with a separation of eighty (80) centimeters between cones, shall be situated at a distance of one (1) meter from the fourth row. In addition, it must be ensured that there is a distance between two (2) and three (3) meters between the fifth line and the end of the competition zone. The center of each row must coincide with the center of the judges' table. The row of cones separated by fifty (50) centimeters will be formed by twenty (20) cones. The second and fourth lines, with a separation of eighty (80) centimeters, (will be formed by twenty (20) cones. The third line of cones, with a separation of one hundred and twenty (120) centimeters, will be formed by fourteen (14) cones. The last row with separation between cones of eighty (80) centimeters will be formed by ten (10) cones. Each cone will be marked delimiting its area with an adhesive tape of seven point seven (7.7) centimeters in diameter and with a concentric circle of zero point seven (0.7) centimeters in diameter. What does each test consist of? CLASSIC SLALOM Skaters prepare a choreography with a song of their choice, which they perform during the competition taking into account the established time limits. Scoring is based on a technical part and an artistic part. CASSIC SLALOM PAIRS (CLASSIC SLALOM PAIRS) Two skaters prepare a choreography with a song of their choice, which they perform during the competition taking into account the established time limits. Scoring is based on a technical part, an artistic part and also a synchronization part. SPEED SLALOM Athletes accelerate for twelve (12) meters and pass through a line of cones separated by eighty (80) centimeters as quickly as possible, doing “zig-zag” with one foot. The competition is divided into two phases: a classification phase (free start) and a final phase (KO system). SLALOM BATTLE Skaters compete in groups of three (3) or four (4) and have a set number of passing (round)s to show that they are better than opponents in the same group. The assessment between skaters is done by direct comparison and only one (1) or two (2) skaters pass to the next phase. SLIDES (SLIDEWAYS) Skaters compete in groups of three (3) or four (4) and have a set number of skids to show that they are better than opponents in the same group. FREE JUMPING Competitors jump a bar like a ribbon, which increases in height as the competition progresses. ROLLER CROSS Skaters are faced with a circuit of different obstacles that they must overcome until they reach the goal.
